Are you a cheerful people person, and a natural community-builder? We’re looking for a volunteer Front of House Lead to manage the front of house team as they welcome attendees to Sunday Assembly London.
Front of House Lead is the ideal role for a gregarious person who wants to give their time to a community and build their experience of events organisation, fundraising, and community management. Get involved in Sunday Assembly London, a volunteer-led organisation, behind the scenes. It’s all about making sure everyone feels safe and welcome!
What will you be doing?
As the head of the Front of House team, you will represent Sunday Assembly in person at our Sunday events at the Backyard Comedy Club. You will coordinate a team of Front of House volunteers so that events run well. You will lead other volunteers by example to ensure attendees feel welcome, tech runs smoothly, safeguarding is in place, and donations are collected. As Lead Front of House volunteer you will join regular Coordination Crew meetings with other lead volunteers to plan upcoming Assemblies.

It’s vital that new attendees and regulars alike feel looked after at our events, so that we can keep building a community worth being a part of!
You’ll be able to develop and support the other Front of House volunteers, and help to make decisions about how the Assembly is run.
