Backyard Comedy Club, Bethnal Green
Speaker: Adela Apetroaia
Poet: Claudia Colella
Halloween is a time when many people reach into their wardrobes and bring out their spooky clothes. Could it also be time to open your closet and do the same with the skeletons?
Adela Apetroaia is a lecturer, writer and psychotherapist with a special interest in shadow work and the science of close relationships. She returns to Sunday Assembly London for a playful exploration of the scary parts of our unconscious, with insights from dream work, Existential Kink and Internal Family Systems.
Join us as we shine an eerie green light on why we never seem to do what we say we want to, and why it might be a good idea to start listening to the monsters under the bed.
We’re also welcoming back Claudia Colella to put the poet into poltergeist.

More details coming through soon…
Our singalongs
As usual, there will be four pop songs performed by our Sunday Assembly London band and connected to today’s theme. Get your guesses in now!
The lyrics will be projected on screen and everyone’s welcome to sing (and dance) along.
Community craft session
This assembly will be followed by a Hallowe’en themed community craft session led by our Community Lead Tanya. Email community@sundayassembly.com for more details!
