Front of House team

Sunday Assembly London is always looking for friendly people to greet newcomers and make sure the event feels like a welcoming place to be!

Our front of house volunteers do a range of different things to make sure everything runs smoothly on the day. It’s all about making sure everyone feels safe and welcome! Being friendly is the most important part of being a front of house volunteer. If you like doing a variety of things this is a role that may suit you.

What will you be doing?

Making sure that everyone feels welcome – greeting everyone at the door, and ensuring newcomers get spoken to before and after the Assembly.

Helping to set up and pack down the slideshow, and main area with tea and coffee, before and after the Assembly.

Running the slides during the Assembly.

Passing round donation buckets and taking donations in the Assembly break.

Keeping an eye on everyone – taking a headcount, making sure no one is alone in the bar area, and that the front door is monitored at all times.

What difference will you make?

Community is what we’re all about, so it’s vital that we ensure people who may be visiting for the first time are encouraged to keep coming back.
